On 12 January 2024, near Daung Taw Yoe village of Kyauktaw township (Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), an explosion of a landmine planted by the Myanmar military troops LID-376 injured a 28-year-old man on his way from Zay Wa village to Daung Taw Yoe village to buy a cow. The victim lost one of his legs.
