On 13 January 2024, in Mrauk-U town of Mrauk-U township (Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), heavy artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military troops landed in Hpa Yar Paw ward and injured a male civilian. On the same day, the Myanmar military LIB-377 and LIB-378 fired heavy weapons, which fell and exploded into the Htan Ma Rit ward around 2 pm and more than ten houses were destroyed.
