On 13 January 2024, near El Dos (Antioquia), unidentified perpetrators detonated an explosive device (unspecified) at a police vehicle that was patrolling the area. Three police officers were injured by the blast. It is suspected that the attack could be related to retaliation by the Gulf Clan for the recent arrest of a member and relative of the armed group's top leader, although this is under investigation. There were no fatalities.
