On 19 January 2024, in Tet Tu Kone village (Bilin township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military's No.314 artillery unit based near Zee Win village fired at least seven artillery rounds towards nearby villages at around 11 am. Two artillery shells landed in Tet Tu Kone village, killing three women and injuring 10 others including a 2-year-old child.
