On 5 January 2024, in Nat Than Kwin village (Kyaukkyi township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the military from Taungoo town conducted airstrikes, dropping 3 bombs and firing machine guns three times from the Jet Fighters between 7:15 am to 7:29 am. The military then carried out another round of airstrikes at around 10:11 am, dropping a bomb, six rockets, and firing machine guns once on the village. On the same day, the military from Taungoo airlifted 8 packages of rations and weapons with an MI-2 aircraft at around 5:35 pm. Casualties unknown.
