On 12 January 2024, US strikes targeted Houthi sites in the perimeter of Al Hudaydah - Al Hudaydah International Airport (Al Hawak). US forces claimed that strikes were conducted from fighter jets, warships, and submarines on over 60 targets at 16 locations including command and control nodes, munitions depots, launching systems, production facilities, and air defense radar systems. Houthi forces reported a total of 73 US-UK strikes that resulted in 7 fatalities and further injuries. 7 fatalities split between 19 locations.
