Around 6 November 2023 (as reported), between Samaniego and Guachavez municipalities (coded to Samaniego, Narino), an unidentified armed group detonated an explosive on the El Socorro Bridge. The detonation affects Awa Indigenous communities who use that bridge to access their territory. There were no casualties.
