On 27 October 2023, in Myingyan township (Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a combined force of local defense forces carried out mine attacks against about 20 Myanmar military reinforcements in four vehicles coming from Taungtha town. The combined force then attacked military troops with heavy weapons. Three military's vehicles fell off the road and 10 military troops were killed. The combined force includes the Myay Latt PDF (the Myingyan District PDF battalion 3 company 1), the Myingyan District PDF (battalions 8, 4 and 1), the Sagaing District PDF (battalion 4), the Meiktila District PDF (battalions 2 and 3), the Natogyi People's Defense Force (PaKaPha), Mahlaing PDF (B-2) and the Myaung Special People's Defense Force (Drone Force).
