On 22 July 2023, between Kha Maung Taung and Taung Min Pyaung villages (coded as Kha Maung Taung) (Launglon township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the combined force of the Launglon PDF, the Yebyu PDF, the Dawei Guerrilla Revolution Force and the Yephyu PDF (aka the Ba Htoo Column) carried out mine attacks against Myanmar military troops with four mines. 10 military troops were killed and at least 20 others sustained injuries.
