On 28 July 2023, in Thabeikkyin town (Thabeikkyin township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the Pyinoolwin District PDF (B-509), Shwebo Thunder Storm Group, Bo Eagle Force, Nine PDF - Khin U, and the KB4 Tatphwe: KB4 Force attacked the military soldiers who were repairing two ships parked at the harbor with artillery rounds and two of the rounds hit the military ship. There were 4 fatalities on the military side.
