Over the past 24 hours, 67 combat clashes have taken place. In total, the enemy launched 55 missiles and carried out 22 airstrikes, also firing off 35 rocket salvos on the positions of Ukrainian troops and at populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, civilian casualties were reported, as well as destruction to civil infrastructure. That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports. Russian airstrikes targeted the settlements of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kislivka, Tabaivka, Pishchane, and Berestovka in Kharkiv region; Serebryanske Forestry in Luhansk region; and Novoselivka in Donetsk region. About 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under Russian artillery fire. In the area Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation saw no significant changes. In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the Russians maintains their military presence in the areas close to the border, engaging in active sabotage and reconnaissance efforts to prevent the transfer of Ukrainian forces to other frontline sectors. In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region. In the Lyman direction, Ukraine repelled two enemy attacks east of Terny, Donetsk region. In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukraine’s defenders repelled two Russian assaults in the Klishchiivka and Andriivka areas. On the Avdiivka axis, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy’s nonstop attempts to besiege the town, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy assaults near Avdiivka, Severne, Tonenke, and another 15 – near Pervomaiske and Nevelske, Donetsk region. In the Marinka area, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka areas of Donetsk region, where they repelled 12 attacks. The enemy did ran no offensive (assault) missions in the Shakhtarske direction. In the Zaporizhzhia area, the Defense Forces repelled seven Russian attacks south of Krasne, west of Verbove, and north of Novoprokopivka. In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue the effort to expand the existing bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River, having repelled 12 enemy assaults in the past day. Ukrainian troops inflict losses on enemy manpower and capabilities along the entire frontline, the report says. Over the past day, Ukraine’s air defense forces downed 18 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles. Ukraine’s missile troops hit two Russian ammunition depots. As reported earlier, a Ukrainian paratrooper singlehandedly destroyed four Russian armored fighting vehicles within one combat clash, using a Javelin anti-tank missile system.
