On December 24, a Maoist affiliated with Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP), identified as Manoj Ram, was arrested along with five rifles in the Garhwa District of Jharkhand, reports Nagpur Today. The recovered arms include an INSAS rifle and four country-made rifles, in addition to cartridges. The Superintendent of Police (SP) for Garhwa, Deepak Pandey said RankaPolice Station in-charge sustained injuries during this arrest.
