On December 17, two active cadres of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF)identified as Daiguang Gangmei alias Kiakna (21) and Rachunlung Gangmei (25 and one cadre of National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) identified as ‘sergeant major’ Ramreikan alias Akan were killed in a gunfight between ZUF and NSCN-IMat Lamdangmei Village Prayer Mountain under Khoupum Police station in Noney District of Manipur, reports The Sangai Express. The incident occurred despite the existing Ceasefire and Cessation of Operation agreement between the outfits and the Centre.
