On December 16, acting on specific intelligence, a joint column of Assam Rifles, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Manipur Police seized an extensive arsenal at Sangaikot in Churachandpur District of Manipur, reports Northeast Now. The recovery included one Self-Loading Rifle (SLR), one 9mm Pistol, one Revolver, eight improvised mortars, one Tear Gas Gun, three Single Barrel Rifles, country-made bombs, and explosives.
