On December 13, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four individuals named Zafar Alam, Lal Mia, Main Uddin, and Shahab Uddin, during a raid on an arms factory in Tulatali Hill in Chhagirakata under Ramu Upazila in Cox’s Bazar District of Chittagong Division, reports The Daily Star. Recoveries include 10 locally-made guns, 10 rifle bullets, 12 cartridges and a large cache of arms-making materials.However, the owner and chief arms maker of the factory, Maniul Haque, managed to flee.
