IED event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Daraban in Dera Ismail Khan District area, Pakistan on Tue 12th December 2023

Three Policemen were killed and 16 other personnel sustained injuries as terrorists rammed an explosive-laden car into Daraban Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on December 12 (today), reports ARY News. The terrorists, according to the Police, hit a car full of explosives at the main gate of the Daraban police station main gate. As a result, three Policemen were killed. Police also gunned down two terrorists during an exchange of fire as they tried to enter the premises. Police Station’s roof collapsed after the attack. The Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP) claimed the responsibility of the attack, adds The Khorasan Diary. The spokesman of TJP, Mullah Qasim while terming it a suicide mission (Fidayeen) attack said it was carried out by Mawlawi Hassan Gandapur.
