On December 11, four members of the United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) were shot dead by armed assailants in the Anil Para village under Panchhari Police Station area in Khagrachhari District of Chittagong Division, reports bdnews24. These four leaders were identified as Bipul Chakma (Gonotantrik Jubo Forum's Organising Secretary), Sunil Tripura (Pahari Chhatra Parishad Vice-President), Liton Chakma (Gonotantrik Jubo Forum leader), Rohin Bikash Tripura (member). Following this incident, three more UPDF leaders were reported missing.
