On January 8, a combine team of Kakching District commando and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel recovered and seized arms and ammunition buried at Waikhong Tangsam Leikai in Kakching District of Manipur, reports The Sangai Express. The recovered arms and ammunition include two country made single barrel guns, one 81 mortar with cover and carrier, one walkie-talkie set, five hand grenades and 12 numbers of 12 bore live rounds.
