On December 26, a 28-year-old woman was shot dead by Taliban officials in front of her two children in the Almar District of Faryab Province, reports Hasht-e Subh Daily. Locals claim that the Taliban accused the woman of escaping from home, subjected her to a kangaroo court, and subsequently shot her dead. As of now, the Taliban have not issued any official statement regarding this incident.
