On 30 December 2023, in Tha Yet Kaung Pin village (Mahlaing township, Meiktila district, Mandalay region), the combined force of the Natogyi People's Defense Force, Natogyi Regional Defense Force and People's Defense Force - Sintgaing (PaKaPha) attacked 30 military soldiers stationed at a monastery with bombs attached to a drone around 12 pm. 5 military soldiers were killed and 3 were injured.
