On 31 December 2023, in Myaing township (Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of unidentified local defense forces attacked three military vehicles carrying about 70 military troops, including a 12-wheeler truck and a six-wheeler truck, transporting rations from No.2 defense industry to Tha Yet Kwa village with 13 Energa bombs attached to drones at around 7 am. A 12-wheeler truck was damaged. The combined force includes the Myaing PDF (battalions 1, 3, 4, and a heavy weapon group), the GOE, the Bar Ma Hti Heavy Weapon Guerrilla Force, the Tha Pyay Taw Guerrilla Force, the Bo Venomous Snake Group - Myaing, the Wild Elephant Guerrilla Force, the Sword King Group, the THU RAIN and the Young Force-UG. Casualties unknown.
