On 2 January 2024, between Ye-U town and Moke Si village (coded as Ye-U) (Ye-U township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense Comrade carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military column of about 80 troops who were advancing towards the villages in southern Ye-U township in the morning. Casualties unknown.
