On 2 January 2024, in Yebyu town of Yebyu township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), joint forces of People's Defense Force - Kan Pauk (Daw Na Unit of women forces), DDPDF: Dawei District People's Defense Frontier, and People's Defense Force - Yebyu launched drone strikes using five round of 81 mm grenades against the Myanmar military troops LID-409 stationed in Yebyu town. The drone strikes injured four military soldiers.
