On 3 August 2020, an Al Shabaab PBIED explosion targeting Govt forces (military) occurred adjacent to the entrance gate at the Lul-Yemeni bar restaurant in Mogadishu-Hamar Jabjab district (Hamar Jabjab, Banadir). Al Shabaab claimed to have killed 14 people and injured several others. 15 fatalities coded in total.
