UAV event in Al Hasakeh, Quamishli area, Syrian Arab Republic on Mon 25th December 2023

On 25 December 2023, Turkish forces conducted a series of drone strikes targeting fourteen positions including Asayish checkpoints and infrastructure facilities in the town of Quamishli in the countryside of Al Hasakeh killing seven civilians and wounding ten others. The targeted locations were as follows: SadCop company; an Asayish checkpoint and another position in Al-Alaya neighborhood, resulting in the death of one civilian; the power station in Mayslon neighborhood; a position in Antareya neighborhood; Simaf printing press, where five civilians were killed; a construction facility near Covid hospital; the railway station; the North Company in Suez Canal neighborhood; a cement factory in the eastern outskirts; a position in the vicinity of the grain silos resulting in the death of one civilian; a medical facility; a detergent factory near Al-Falaheen gas station; and a grain mill east of the town. 7 fatalities.
