On 27 December 2023, in Pyin Ma Pin village (Phyu township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military LIB-307 stationed at Shwe War and the military LIB-439 stationed at Kanyutkwin town fired howitzer cannons around 4:01 pm and killed a 24-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man. A 4-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl were severely injured.
