On 28 December 2023, in Seikphyu township (Pakokku district, Magway region), two young men who were abducted by the military from a betal farm near Pay Taw village as human shields stepped on mines separately planted by Pyu Saw Htee and were injured. One of them was in critical situation according to locals.
