On 18 December 2023, in Ramree town (Ramree township, Kyaukpyu district, Rakhine state), after the fight with the AA (coded separately), the military, air base, and navy conducted airstrikes using jet fighters and two helicopters, along with firing artillery rounds at around 11 am. Some houses and shops were destroyed. A man from Laung Chaung ward was killed and two underage girls were injured.
