On 18 December 2023, near Kyauk Yit village (coded as Kyauk Yit (East)) (Myaung township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Myaung Special People's Defense Force, People's Defense Force - Myingyan District (B-1, 2, 3 and 8), People's Defense Force - Meiktila District (B-2 and 3), People's Defense Force - Chauk, Western Villages Joint Force, Chindwin Joint Forces - Myaung, Myaung Bo Tauk Tun and the Sprig Of Eugenia Brothers LPDF attacked the military soldiers coming back from Tha Net Kone and Kyauk Tan villages with 12 air bombs, 12 rockets and twenty-three 60 mm handmade drone bombs starting from around 10:45 am. There were 2 injuries on the military side.
