On 22 December 2023, a military escort convoy of the Boungou industrial mine conducted operations involving airstrikes in the villages of Kanliyinou, Ouahilde, Namoungou, and Tchagou, location coded to Kanliyinou (Fada Ngourma, Gourma). At least 35 civilians from the Fulani community were killed. Fatalities are split across two events. 17 fatalities coded.
