Air Delivered event in Rakhine, Mrauk-U area, Myanmar on Mon 11th December 2023

On 11 December 2023, in Pan Myaung village (Minbya township, Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike with two fighter jets and opened fire with small and heavy weapons at locals around 2 pm. The military opened fire on the villages after they sent reinforcement troops and food provisions to the Taung Phyu Mountain and Aung Mingalar Mountain near the village. During the airstrike, the military outpost in the village also fired heavy weapons. Locals were forced to flee as the military fighter jets fired small and heavy weapons toward the village. There were no casualties.
