On 12 December 2023, in Kyauk Yit (East) village of Myaung township (Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a combined force of local defense forces attacked a Myanmar military unit of 37 troops traveling from Kyauk Yit police station to Bu Kaing and Se Ywar villages with a bomb attached to a drone at 11:45 am, another bomb at 12:11 pm, and the third bomb at 12:33 pm. The combined force includes the Civilians Defense Security Organization Myaung, the Myingyan District PDF (battalion 2), the People's Security Force (Myaung), the 11 Brothers Revolution Forces, the Myaung Villages Coalition, the Naung Yoe Army, the Liberation Army of Central Region, the 8 Stars Myingyan Guerrilla Force and unidentified local defense forces. Casualties unknown.
