On 12 December 2023, near In Hla village (Kyunhla township, Kanbalu district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military MI35 helicopter from the armor corp - 6006 based in Kanbalu town opened fire with a machine gun at 11:45 am and 4 pm. Casualties unknown.
