On 12 December 2023, in Leik Sin Taung village (Kyunhla township, Kanbalu district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped two 500 lbs bombs around 12:30 am. At least 20 houses were destroyed. There were no casualties.
