On 15 December 2023, in Namhsan town of Namhsan township (Pa Laung Self-Administered Zone, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military forces launched airstrikes on the town. The airstrikes injured a local civilian. The airstrikes also damaged a monastery, school building, and houses.
