On 18 August 2020, a car bomb by an unknown armed group exploded targeting a Turkey backed factions' checkpoint whom are operating under OPS at Suluk in rural Tell Abiad in Ar-Raqqa countryside, killing 4 checkpoint members, and injuring others including civilians.
