LUGANSK, January 8. /TASS/. The FAB-250 air bomb has departed non-standardly from aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces over the city of Rubezhnoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), with no civilian casualties reported, the LPR’s head Leonid Pasechnik said.

"As combat missions were executed by aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces over the city of Rubezhnoye the FAB-250 air-delivered munition departed non-standardly. Nobody was hurt, fortunately," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

People living in neighboring houses were evacuated, Pasechnik said.

Security forces are working on the spot, he noted, adding that they are deciding on explosive ordnance disposal.
