On 26 August 2020, overnight, Israeli helicopters targeted the building of an NGO "Green Without Borders" located in the Aitaroun natural preserve. The attack caused a fire to break out. Flares and phosphorus shells were also fired at the area. The attack comes in retaliation to Hezbollah fighters opening fire at Israeli soldiers a day before. No fatalities/injuries reported by the source.
