Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders most actively stormed the Kupiansk and Avdiivka fronts and tried to drive the Defence Forces from their foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro River, with a total of 42 combat engagements taking place. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine. On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russian forces maintain a military presence in the border areas, carrying out sabotage and reconnaissance activities, attacking settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Kliusy, Leonivka and Buchky in Chernihiv Oblast; Seredyna-Buda, Studenok, Volfyne, Myropillia, Uhroidy, Riasne and Popivka in Sumy Oblast; and Udy, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, Budarky and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast. On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 Russian attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Kharkiv Oblast. The Russians also carried out airstrikes near Petropavlivka and Hlushkivka in Kharkiv Oblast. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast. The Russian forces did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions on the Lyman front. The Russians also launched airstrikes near Nevske, Novoliubivka, Serebrianske Forest in Luhansk Oblast and Terny, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Siversk, Spirne and Pereizne in Donetsk Oblast. More than 10 settlements suffered from hostile artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast. On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three Russian attacks at Bohdanivka and Andriivka, Donetsk Oblast, where the Russian forces unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky and New-York in Donetsk Oblast. On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 Russian attacks east of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 10 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of our troops. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire, including Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sieverne and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast. On the Marinka front, Ukraine’s Armed Forces continue to restrain the Russians in the areas of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast. Here, the Russian forces made two unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Hostre, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka came under artillery and mortar fire by the Russians. On the Shakhtarsk front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions. They launched an airstrike near Staromayorske, Donetsk Oblast. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, Makarivka and Rivnopil in Donetsk Oblast. On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Armed Forces repelled two attacks in the areas of Robotyne and south of Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Here, the Russians, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions. More than 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Levadne, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, Zolota Balka, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Kherson, Sofiivka and Stanislav in Kherson Oblast came under Russian artillery fire. The Russians did not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units from the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, the Russian forces carried out 13 unsuccessful assault actions on the positions of Ukrainian troops. They received a decent rebuff and suffered significant losses. Ukrainian forces are steadfastly holding the line, continuing to hold their positions and inflicting fire on the Russians. During the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted 17 clusters of Russian personnel, weapons, military equipment and two anti-aircraft missile systems. Units of the Rocket Forces and Artillery targeted two clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, four artillery systems and two ammunition depots.
