The IDF says it struck a Hezbollah cell in southern Lebanon that was preparing to launch drones at northern Israel. "An Air Force aircraft attacked the squad before it could carry out the launch, and destroyed the aircraft they were using," the IDF says. The IDF says Hezbollah also attempted to launch drones at Israel from within the border village of Maroun el-Ras. "This is another example of the cynical exploitation by the terror organization of civilian populations and facilities," the IDF says. IAF fighter jets also struck Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon today, the military adds. Suspected drone infiltration alarms and rocket sirens that sounded earlier in northern Israel were all false alarms, according to the IDF.
