Maternity Hospital Targeted in Deadly Russian Strike on Dnipro

At least five people were killed in the city of Dnipro after a maternity hospital and shopping mall were targeted, as Russia launched a wave of missile strikes on Ukraine’s major cities on December 29.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the regional military administration, said at least 20 people were also injured from the strikes. Lysak said the tally was likely to rise as people were thought to be under rubble.

Strikes were reported across Ukraine, including the major cities of Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa.
