An informed source told Radio Dabanga that fierce battles took place between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in the vicinity of the Mohandiseen area on Tuesday. He added that the Rapid Support initiated the attack through artillery shelling that began at six in the morning, adding that the army responded to all attempts to provide support and remained anchored in its defenses.

In the same context, battles renewed in the Karari area, west of Al-Harrat, while Rapid Support artillery bombed the vicinity of the General Command and the Signal Corps.
