On 1 September 2020, a suicide bomber in a pick-up truck detonated a SVBIED on the road of Kirkuk-Tikrit at a police checkpoint, around Mariam Beik Bridge, resulted in the killing of 1 civilian (woman) and the injury of 3 associate police officers. Two fatalities coded accounting for the suicide bombers.
