On 5 December 2023, Israeli warplanes struck the Hafsa school hosting displaced people in Jabalya refugee camp (North Gaza, Gaza Strip), injuring several Palestinians. In addition, airplanes struck houses and fired white phosphorus bombs in Jabalya, killing at least 15 persons. HRW and Amnesty International have accused Israel of using white phosphorous bombs.
