On 6 December 2023, in Mrauk-U town (Mrauk-U township, Mrauk-U district, Rakhine state), the Arakan Army attacked the Myanmar military column of around 70 soldiers with five remote explosives near the Mrauk-U Myoma police station where military soldiers were present around 1 pm. During the fight, the military fired heavy weapons and small guns that landed on residential areas. 4 military soldiers were killed and around 20 were injured.
