On 7 December 2023, in Zee Ta Ban village (Kutkai township, Muse district, Shan-North state), the military from LIB-123 base camp fired artillery rounds since the morning and some of the rounds hit and injured a 35-year-old man and a 16-year-old man at around 4:30 pm. The 35-year-old man was taken to a hospital and died from injuries at around 6 pm.
