On 6 August 2019 around 4pm, a bomb claimed by IS that was planted in the vehicle of counter-narcotic police forces detonated in the Kotal-e Khair Khana (Khairkhana) area of Kabul district. 5 policemen were killed and 5-7, including a civilian, were wounded. IS claimed to have killed or injured 20.
