The IDF says it struck a Syrian Army outpost in southern Syria in response to rocket fire at northern Israel earlier. Several rockets were fired from Syria, some of which crossed the border and landed in open areas in the Golan Heights. The IDF says it shelled the source of the fire with artillery, and tanks struck a Syrian Army position. Also earlier, several rockets were fired from Lebanon at Kiryat Shmona.
