On 26 November 2023, in Lin Zin village of Salin township (Minbu district, Magway region), Daung Nyi Naung PDF: Peacock Brothers PDF fired three rounds of 40 mm heavy artillery shells against about 30 Myanmar military troops who were drinking alcohol at the police station at around 12:25 am. Two rounds of the shelling landed inside the police station. One military soldier died and another one was seriously injured.
