On 26 November 2023, in Launglon town of Launglon township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the People's Defense Force - Launglon (PaKaPha) carried out a mine attack against about 15 Myanmar military troops patrolling in the two at around 5:30 pm. The mine attack killed six military soldiers and injured four others.
